As the son of a watchmaker and clockmaker, designer Arjan Ros grew up surrounded by timepieces. Inspired by the style of Wes Anderson's film "Moonrise Kingdom," he brought an old clock from his father's warehouse. After stripping and painting it, the idea for KLOQ was born.

The new KLOQs are inspired by clocks of yesteryear and are handmade in the Netherlands from FSC-certified birch wood. A KLOQ is a colorful expression of simplicity and evokes memories of the past.
